GravityBench is free to use, ad-supported, and built by one person maintaining a lot of sourced, factual data — hop and malt specs that need periodic re-checking against current grower and maltster publications, yeast product data that changes when a lab revises a strain's data sheet, and a calculation core that gets unit-tested every time a formula changes.

If the calculators or reference pages have saved you time on a brew day, a small donation goes directly toward keeping the reference data current and adding new hop varieties, malts, yeast strains and style guidelines. There's no subscription and no recurring charge — just a one-time contribution if and when you want to make one.
